Conklin's Maintain® was developed specifically for applications to new and aged galvanized steel. Maintain® is a "white" water-based maintenance coating with the addition of two anticorrosive additives. Until recently, water-based coatings were designed as a finish coat over vinyl wash primers and metal alkyd primers. Today, the traditional two-step process is eliminated with our one product, Maintain®, a finish coat with outstanding anticorrosion properties.

As a "white" finish coat, Maintain® can reduce energy costs of buildings by decreasing the amount of heat transferred to building interior. In agribusiness, facility designs for poultry production, swine production or other animals are concerned with heat stress. Heat stress typically affects cash flow by creating an adverse effect on rate of production and mortality. By reducing the heat transferred into the building interior, heat stress can be reduced and cooling effectiveness achieved. With high reflectivity, Maintain® will keep buildings cooler and provide increased profits from production as well as lower energy costs to cool a building's interior.
